Charlie "T- Cleaux" The Crawfish

"The Official Mascot” of The Taste of Louisiana Festival

Charlie “T-Cleaux” The Crawfish

Charlie “T-Cleaux” The Crawfish is the official Mascot of The Taste of Louisiana Festival. He was born January 2, 2012 and grew quite rapidly on a small crawfish farm right outside of Lake Charles, LA. "T-Cleaux" as we call him for short, was the size of a Lobster when he was just 1 week old. No one is able to explain why he grew so large; some speculate he was a science experiment. As the rest of his peers dreaded being eaten one day. T- Cleaux was quickly establishing dominance amongst the other crawfish and the farmers. The farmers thought T-Cleaux would be great for the Guinness Book of World Records or a circus attraction. Little did the farmers know T-Cleaux’s intelligence matched his size. T-Cleaux planned to run away and find his way in the world. To make a long story short T-Cleaux ran away to Lake Charles, LA and found his way into the office of The Taste of Louisiana Festival and the rest is history! More to come on this story but as for now check back for Charlie “T-Cleaux” The Crawfish and his Adventures.
